Why The Name Little Savvy Changes?
When the idea of even starting this blog was cultivated, the only clear mission was for it to be a helpful and a resource for people wanting to grow and change for the better. A few ideas for a name came to mind.
While on the search for the perfect name for my blog. Daydreaming set in of the names related to the purpose it is to represent. Soon realizing, finding the perfect the name was an initial hurdle unanticipated. Even if in a daydream the perfect name that doesn’t mean it is searchable or available as website name or domain. Optimistically searching thinking creativity would take this to the finish line but it was not so easy. (Do you know how many people have bought domain names or decided to write a blog or start a business on the internet? The answer is a lot.) With every unsuccessful search the pressure of perfection and the struggle to get a viable result started to set in. So many different variations some were corny, some were strong, some were weird and others were amazing. All of the combinations of name had one thing in common. They were already taken.
As disappointment and defeat came knocking, digging deep and pushing through was not easy. Many peep talks, recommitments were made.
After seeking advice through a lot to research of the articles, videos, and books. A book sticked, “The Compound Effect“, by Daren Hardy. If you’re looking for a jump start this book is a great place to start. Spoiler alert: one of the points of the book is about little changes. That key point inspired the name of this blog.
After some word play “Little Savvy Changes” stuck. Off to the races, with a name and a grand vison in mind. Unfortunately, the steam ran out, shortly after, facing hurdles of set up and direction. The new name and vision sat for years. Another domain occupied but not used. This year (2026), that changes. The vision had been reinvigorated. So, cheers to putting excuse on hold. Let’s Eat to fuel the journey ahead, Breath in the beauty, and Change for the better!
